Rules & Scoring Information

HOW TO PLAY
OBJECT
The object of the game is for your team to accumulate the highest fantasy point total any one week and/or over the season. Players on your team will earn fantasy points based on their statistical performance in MLB  games for the season.  All our Leagues are set up on a Head to Head Competition.  The Team who has the highest total points for the week will be given the win.
DURATION
The Fantasy Baseball Season covers 26  weeks of the 2004 MLB  regular season. MLB  postseason games are not included in the Fantasy Baseball.  Each Team will Play 22 Games in the Regular Season.  The Top Two Teams in each division will Go to the Playoffs.  The Playoffs will be the last 4 weeks of the regular season.. Each Playoff team in each Division will Play each other for two full weeks to determine the winner and who will go on to the Championship. The Winner of the Division will hold the Tie Breaker over the wild card team.  In case of a TIE the Division Winner will go on to the championship.  The championship will be the winner of the National League  and the Winner of the American League.  The championship will go on for a full two weeks.  The Team who scores the most points in this two week period will win the Game Day Legends Fantasy Baseball  Championship.  In case of a TIE in the Finals the team who has the best regular season record will win, The Second tie breaker if needed will be YTD Points.
Tie Breakers :1st: Divison Wins   2nd: Win Percentage  3rd: Year to Date Points.
YOUR TEAM
Roster
Team rosters must consist of a total of 25 total Players and 16  total Starters. You must select the following positions for your team:

    1 - 1B Can Draft up to (2)
    1 - 2B Can Draft up to (2)
    1 - 3B Can Draft up to (2)
    1 - SS Can Draft up to (2)
    1 - C Can Draft up to (2)
    3 - OF Can Draft up to (5)
    4 - SP  Can Draft up to (5)
    3 - RP Can Draft up to  (5)
    1 - UTILITY SLOT -

Leagues
All teams must be placed in a league. Leagues will consist of no more than 10-12 teams.

Draft:

All Leagues will use the online draft system.  When Your league fills, Teams will Vote on a Draft Date.  Once a Date is Set all teams will get together in our Online LIVE Draft room and Complete the Draft.

Drafting is easy!  Once you enter your team page click Draft..  Then notice on the upper right hand corner of the screen who pick it is..  If its your teams pick then click the Position button Exp: 1B or OF  then the group of free agent players will come up,  Click the player you desire then click ADD.  That's it.

Pitch a Shut Out 10 Points

Points are Combined Scoring..  For example if your 1B Hits a HR with Runners on he will get the points for the HR, the HIT, the RBI and the Run Scored.

TRADING
Trades can be made up to three weeks prior to the Playoffs.  All Trades will be Reviewed before accepted for complete fairness, All Trades Approved or Disapproved will Be Decided  On Tuesday, This way it gives teams time to set their line-ups for the week..

Lineup Postings
Start of First Game - However teams who forget to set their lineups, The computer Will auto-set lineups at game time.  The Computer will not move players from bench to starting lineup, it will just set what lineup from the week Prior. Lineups need to be set by Sunday Night 11pm EST Time.  Lineups are Set once Per week.

Additional Notes
ALL TRADES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND ARE CONSIDERED FINAL

Waiver Wire:

Waiver wire is Simple it is set up with First come First Serve...However by week 10 an undroppable list will be compiled and these players on the list will not be able to be waivered    Trades are cut off three weeks prior to the Playoffs. Waiver wire is shut down during the playoffs.

 

PRIZES
Each League Winner Will Receive a Solid Baseball  Player Trophy engraved with your team name and Fantasy 2004 Champion!.. .

PLEASE NOTE: Private Leagues are not eligible for the Overall League Prizes.  Due to Changes and Customized Point system.  Private Leagues with Default Point and Positions will be Eligible.
